Jacqueline D. Crowley, Esq. has made it her career to specialize in litigation and trial practices, predominantly in the field of criminal defense, as well as family law and personal injury. She started her career as a prosecutor and slowly worked her way to private practice. Today she fully embraces aggressive criminal defense helping her clients with a range of offenses – from misdemeanors to capital felonies, as well as handling of appeals and post conviction matters. She also focuses her practice in the field of family law and personal injury. Her strong litigation experience, comfort in a courtroom and trial skills allows her to be an asset in all fields of practice.
Ms. Crowley started her career as a prosecutor in South Florida. She spent four years and gained valuable trial experience as an Assistant State Attorney for Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
During her tenure, she became experienced in all aspects of criminal law and litigation and has handled over 100 jury trials. She has comprehensive training in the field of DUI law from her experiences in the 17th Judicial Circuit, Broward County.
Ms. Crowley also spent time working at a small boutique personal injury firm in Broward County where she gained experience in handling all aspects of personal injury matters, both pre-litigation, and litigation.
Throughout the course of her private practice, it became apparent to Ms. Crowley and her partner, Mr. Farkas that a true need for experienced and aggressive litigators in the fields of family law and personal injury existed. They believe that nothing is more important than justice, family, and one’s health so they made the decision to use their skill and experience to help protect their clients.
Attending Stetson University College of Law, she focused her education on litigation and trial work and participated in numerous trial workshops as well as serving as a certified legal intern for the Pinellas County Public Defender’s Office.
In 2011, Ms. Crowley began focusing on her private practice. This was when she partnered with Mr. Farkas to establish Farkas & Crowley.
Since the firm’s birth, she has dedicated herself to fighting tirelessly for her clients.
